Sometimes the Only Choice is to Run

For nearly five years, Lance was Evelyn’s everything. But not by choice. Over the course of their marriage, Lance grew increasingly violent and controlling and when Evelyn sees the opportunity to run, she takes it.

On her own, scared and hurt, she crosses paths with a police officer and his no-nonsense grandmother. While the situation is far from comfortable, Evelyn is given time to heal both her body and her soul. It isn’t long, though, before she’s running again and learns that sometimes when you lose yourself at the hands of another, you need the help of others to find yourself again.

But is it enough to face Lance when the time comes, or will she keep running?
